Puppy and Teen Puppy Socials
About the program
Puppy Socials at Sugar Paws Dog Training is a unique hour of trainer-guided fun and playtime with other pups from the neighborhood. Puppy Socials are the safest way to socialize partially vaccinated puppies in a clean, professionally run environment.
Puppies will be exposed to other age-appropriate puppies to learn playtime manners, increase social and communication skills, and acquire ‘bite inhibition” to help them learn how hard is too hard!
As an added bonus, your puppy will leave tired so you can rest with ease.

This program requires the owner to be present.
Registration is required.

Age requirements:
We offer two age groups:

Puppy social is for puppies between 8-16 weeks.

Teen puppy social is for puppies between 6 months and 1 year of age.
All puppies registered must be currently enrolled or have taken Puppy Kindergarten.

Vaccination requirements:

Distemper & Parvo (at least first round)
-
Bordetella
-
Rabies (if age appropriate)
Is my dog the best fit for teen puppy socials?
Teen puppy socials are for dogs who are already socialized well with other dogs but could use a safe environment to continue socialization.

Note: If your dog has known aggression toward other dogs or people or is dog or people selective, this is not the appropriate program for you. Please reach out to us with any questions.

At Sugar Paws Dog Training we DO NOT promote, condone or permit the use of correction-based training tools for dogs enrolled in our training programs. This includes the use of choke chain collars, prong (pinch) collars, citronella collars, shock or vibration collars (including invisible fence shock collars), and bark collars.
